Quincy Bioscience will demonstrate the results of a recent study¹ on the safety assessment of apoaequorin. The objective of the study was to investigate potential adverse effects, if any, of apoaequorin, a recombinant protein preparation, in rats following subchronic administration.

Apoaequorin is a food ingredient and is included in dietary supplements. It is used to improve mild memory loss associated with aging.
